OUR PASTORS

Revs. Jeff and Meddy come from differing backgrounds and spiritual understandings, yet in their unique diversity, they find partnership in everything. Meddy and Jeff are the founders of Spark of Divinity. Back in 2007 both wanted to have a place for anyone seeking fellowship without judgment or expectation of conformity - allowing everyone to find that Spark of Divinity within. To this day, both Meddy and Jeff (or Mom and Dad as some call them) welcome everyone as they are and hope for each one that they find the growth they are seeking.

Rev. Meddy's Interfaith-Pagan-Spiritulaist background also combines with her anthropological academic puruits to understand our paths which led us to where we are - in gratitude and acceptance.  Rev. Jeff's Interfaith-Kabbalist-Spiritualist background brings a holistic and unifying understanding to Creation surrounding us all.

Both are Reiki Masters in the Usui lineage of Reiki Mastership. This allows their ecclectic paths to come together in order to share and serve the greater love. Meddy is an anthropologist, having studied at SUNY Oswego; and Jeff is an eclectic muggle (paralegal and substitute teacher/aide) returning to academia for his certification in Adolescent Education in History and Special Education.

OUR CONGREGATION

Spark of Divinity Congregation is an independent 501(c)(3)(b) religious organization that celebrates the diverse nature of spiritual thought. As an interfaith group, SoD honors the traditions of both ancient and modern spiritualism which includes healing and message work in an open relationship between many belief systems.

Every service is completed hand in hand as a family circle which supports, challenges, and inspires the peaceful coexistence of all. We welcome everyone with an open heart and open mind. Spark of Divinity is rich in potential for all of us to grow in Light!

We believe in Unity through Diversity, One Journey many Paths, and that Spiritual Growth can be obtained through the merging of Mind, Body and Spirit. Our Sunday Services begin at 11am, so get your seat early and enjoy some fellowship in the light of love and acceptance.
